Edition 2025 — Santu Itu Piccinnu
In February 2025, the community of Lequile celebrated the Patronage Feast in honor of Saint Vitus, the first of the three annual commemorations dedicated to the patron saint. On the eve of the feast, February 12th, the focara was lit in Largo San Vito, created with bundles of vine shoots brought by the faithful from the countryside.
On February 13th, the festival continued with the solemn thanksgiving mass in the Mother Church and the traditional ritual of the glowing embers, purchased with an offering and taken home as a sign of the Saint's protection. In 2025 as well, the festival confirmed its deep roots in the memory and faith of the Lequile community.
