Santopadre Squid Festival

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Santopadre hosted a new edition of the Squid Festival, presented by the organisers as the most anticipated event of the summer and the only squid festival in lower Lazio at 750 metres above sea level. In Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, the stalls, open from 8:00 PM, served the two signature dishes of the event: calamarata and fried squid, with a side of chips and cold beer. It was possible to book tables for dinner. From 9:30 PM, the stage hosted the CantAutori concert, which enlivened the square until late in the evening. The event, organised by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Municipality of Santopadre, confirmed the success of a simple and convivial formula, capable of bringing the scent of the sea to the mountains of Ciociaria, in the province of Frosinone.
