Edition 2025 — Santo Stefano Feast

The Santo Stefano patronal feast, in the hillside hamlet of Busca (CN), is rooted in devotion to the patron saint and the life of the medieval chapel frescoed by the Biazaci brothers. In recent years, the feast had experienced a pause, until the relaunch project promoted by the young people of the new committee.

The hamlet of Santo Stefano, on the hills of the municipality of Busca in the province of Cuneo, owes its name to the patron saint to whom the historic medieval chapel is dedicated, already mentioned in 1216 and embellished by the apse frescoes of the brothers Tommaso and Matteo Biazaci. The village community has always gathered around this place of strong identity value.

In recent years, the patronal feast had experienced a period of suspension. It was precisely from this awareness that the project of a group of young people from the hamlet was born in 2026, gathered in a committee, to bring the tradition back to life and with it the vitality of the village, starting from its most beloved places like the Ernesto Francotto Park.
