Santissimo Crocifisso Festival

2025 Edition

From September 20 to 22, 2025, Polignano a Mare renewed its appointment with the Santissimo Crocifisso Festival, one of the most deeply felt devotions in the town within the Metropolitan City of Bari. Piazza Vincenzo Capobianco hosted the heart of the festivities, between moments of religious reflection and shared celebration.

The program alternated liturgical celebrations in honor of the venerated wooden Crucifix with the solemn procession through the streets of the center, accompanied by the faithful and the brass band. The evenings featured traditional illuminations, stands with typical Apulian products, and the highly anticipated fireworks display, which closed the three days of celebration in an atmosphere of great popular participation.
