Edition 2025 — Crocifisso of Pozzino
The 2025 Santissimo Crocifisso Festival of Pozzino took place on Saturday, May 3rd in the locality of Pozzino, in San Pietro in Lama, in the province of Lecce. As per tradition, the small 15th-century church dedicated to the Crucifix was the centre of the community's moments of devotion.
In the evening, starting at 8:30 PM, the festival opened up to the popular dimension with live music performances: The Covers and Kababò performed on stage, featuring reinterpretations of famous songs and village festival rhythms. The evening, held outdoors with free admission, enlivened the Pozzino countryside, confirming the event as one of the most heartfelt moments in the San Pietro in Lama calendar.
