Santissimo Crocifisso Festival 2025

The 2025 edition, in Belmonte Mezzagno (Palermo), was held from September 7th to 15th. The opening day, Saturday, September 7th, featured morning fireworks, the Scacciata Belmontese Festival on Via Alberto Sordi with street bands and the lighting of the illuminations, and in the evening, the Grand Gala presented by Marina Mistretta with I 4 Gusti, Simone Riccobono from "Sicilia Cabaret," and the Sesto Senso Band.

The central days included the gathering of Sicilian Drummers and majorettes, holy masses with blessings for children and couples, and the horse race in honor of the Crucifix. The highlight was on September 14th, with the dawn alborata, solemn mass, musical band performances, and in the evening, the procession of the Santissimo Crocifisso with the flight of the angels, closed by fireworks.
