Edition 2025 — Santa Rosalia in Bivona
The 2025 edition
In 2025, Bivona once again celebrated its patron saint with the traditional early September festivities, culminating on September 4th with the Scinnuta and the procession of the reliquary. The 17th-century simulacrum, covered in gold and adorned with twelve silver bells, was welcomed as it exited the church by the waving of hundreds of white handkerchiefs and accompanied along the streets of the center by brass bands.
The days featured a mix of solemn masses, parades by folk groups, traditional drummers, and entertainment in the town squares, with the traditional fair and the fireworks display closing the festivities.
