The 2025 edition: jazz, bossa nova, and blues

From August 8 to 10, 2025, the Porticciolo of Santa Marinella hosted the second edition of the festival, then presented as the Santa Marinella Jazz & Soul Festival, organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Alexanderplatz Jazz Club and under the artistic direction of Eugenio Rubei. Three evenings were on the bill, all with free admission starting at 9:30 PM: Friday, August 8 featured the swing of Emanuele Urso and his orchestra with the «Segnali di Jazz» project, in an evening that also paid tribute to the bond between Santa Marinella and Guglielmo Marconi, with the presentation of the book «Io sono Elettra» by Marco Panella; Saturday, August 9 featured the bossa nova of the Rosalia de Souza Quartet; Sunday, August 10 featured the blues grand finale with the Marco Rinalduzzi Blues Band. The public success confirmed the festival's formula — great live music, by the sea, and free — and paved the way for the 2026 edition and the birth of a winter series.
