Santa Marina Celebrations (Patronal Feast)

The 2025 edition of the Santa Marina Celebrations took place in Santa Marina Salina, on the island of Salina (Aeolian Islands, province of Messina), on July 16th and 17th. As per tradition, the patronal feast alternated religious rites in honor of Santa Marina (the procession of the statue carried on shoulders through the town and the solemn Holy Mass) with the most anticipated popular moments: the 'ntinna a mari competition at the port, musical evenings in the square with the Isola Verde band, and the fireworks at midnight that illuminated the sea of Salina, bidding farewell to the conclusion of the festival.
