Edition 2025 — Santa Marina and Sant'Elia

In 2025, the Ruggiano patronal feasts followed the usual calendar of July 16, 17, and 20. Santa Marina was celebrated on July 16-17 with the solemn procession, illuminations, and concerts in Piazza Sant'Elia, including the 'Città di Castellana' Brass Band. On July 20, the feast of Sant'Elia concluded the festivities amidst devotion and music.

The 2025 edition of the Santa Marina and Sant'Elia feasts in Ruggiano di Salve took place according to tradition between July 16 and 20. The eve featured the solemn procession starting from the small church of Santa Marina, with the statue accompanied through the village streets to the blessing of children on the churchyard. The evenings combined liturgical celebrations, illuminations, and stalls: among the musical events in Piazza Sant'Elia was the 'Città di Castellana' Brass Band, while on July 20, the celebrations for Sant'Elia the Prophet, patron of the village, concluded the festivities in the usual setting of popular faith and Salento music.
