Santa Maria Salome Festival

From May 16th to 25th, 2025, Veroli paid tribute to its patron saint with ten days of celebrations promoted by the co-cathedral basilica, the Pro Loco, and the municipal administration. The religious program offered daily rosaries and holy masses, the blessing of the grain on Sunday, May 18th, and on Saturday, May 24th, the peace march and a memorial mass for the fallen.

The evening of Saturday, May 24th, featured the most solemn moments: the celebration presided over by Bishop Ambrogio Spreafico, the opening of the Door of Indulgence, the evocative shower of roses, and the procession, announced by the traditional ringing of the bells at 9:00 PM. On Sunday, May 25th, the day of the solemnity, the final celebration and the procession with the saint's bust towards the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea took place.

In Piazza Mazzoli, the civil program enlivened four evenings, from May 22nd to 25th: 13 food trucks, live music, and DJ sets with The Street Lounge & Edo and DJ Gigio De Simone, the concert by Pierdavide Carone on Saturday, May 24th at 9:45 PM, and to close, the folk music show 'Echi nel vento' by Valentina Ferraiuolo with the TrilalìnnA project. All events were free of charge.
