Santa Maria in Selva Polenta Festival

The 49th edition of the Santa Maria in Selva Polenta Festival was held from September 17 to 21, 2025, opening on Thursday, September 17 at 9:15 PM with free admission. As tradition dictates, the absolute stars were the food stands, with polenta served in the three classic sauces — sausage, duck, and cod — accompanied by grilled meats, polenta fritters, and local wines.

The program alternated gastronomy, folklore, music, and sport, with dancing evenings, Marche folk groups, and the charity raffle. In Treia (MC), the festival confirmed its role as a major popular event in the Macerata hinterland, organized by volunteers in yellow uniforms affiliated with the Italian Polenta Makers Association.
