Santa Maria di Merino Festival

The 2025 edition of the Santa Maria di Merino Festival took place in Vieste from May 7 to 11, with the usual blend of sacred rites and secular festivities. The heart of the celebrations was the procession on May 9th, which departed at 8:45 AM from the Cathedral and headed to the Sanctuary of Merino along a route of about 7 kilometers between the sea and the olive groves of the Gargano.

Alongside the moments of devotion, the secular festival enlivened the historic center of Vieste with illuminations, brass band concerts, folk groups, festivals of local products, and fireworks over the sea, confirming the event as one of the most attended patronal feasts in the Province of Foggia.
