Santa Maria di Loreto Festival

The patronal feast in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Loreto drew thousands of people to the center of Guidonia Montecelio. The organizing committee, formed by 64 merchants with businesses on Viale Roma, Viale dell'Unione, Via Umberto Maddalena, and Via Visintini, set up about fifty food and wine stalls and various market booths.

On Saturday, September 20, at 9:30 PM, the Notti Magiche concert revisited the hits of the nineties in front of a packed square. On Sunday the 21st, the morning was dedicated to liturgy, with the solemn Mass at 10:00 AM and the procession that started from Piazza Lauretana along Via Chiorboli, Via Lunardi, Via Maddalena, Viale dell'Unione, Viale Roma, and Viale Leonardo da Vinci. In the evening, also at 9:30 PM, the comedy show by Alberto Farina concluded the two-day event. The organizers' assessment was positive, prompting the association to also manage the Christmas events in the center.
