Edition 2025 — Sorresca Festival

In 2025, the Santa Maria della Sorresca Festival was celebrated on Monday, June 9, Whit Monday, preceded on Sunday, June 8, by celebrations in the historic center of San Felice Circeo with the marching band and solemn Mass. At dawn on Monday, the procession departed from the church of San Felice Martire toward the Sanctuary on the shores of Lake Paola in Sabaudia, where the solemn Mass was held; in the evening, the return from the Cona to the village concluded the festival.

The 2025 Sorresca: June 8 and 9

The 2025 edition of the Santa Maria della Sorresca Festival took place on Sunday, June 8, and Monday, June 9, according to the movable calendar linked to Pentecost. Sunday saw the marching band pass through the streets of the center of San Felice Circeo and the celebration of Mass; on Monday, June 9, the day of the festival, the procession departed in the early hours of the morning from the church of San Felice Martire, in the medieval village, to reach the Sorresca Sanctuary on the shores of Lake Paola, in the territory of Sabaudia.

At the sanctuary, the 11 AM solemn Mass brought together the Confraternity, the faithful from the two Pontine municipalities, and the authorities; in the afternoon, a second Mass was celebrated at 6 PM and, around 7:30 PM, the return procession from the Cona brought the statue of the Madonna back to the historic center of San Felice Circeo, closing one of the most attended religious festivals in the province of Latina.
