The 2025 edition

The festival took place from July 3 to 24, 2025, with twenty-two titles on the program, all with free admission and starting at 9:15 PM. It was one of the three arenas of the third edition of Vivi il Cinema!, the project by the Fondazione Cinema per Roma that brought over sixty free screenings to the capital's neighborhoods between late June and late July, alongside the arenas at Corviale and Tor Bella Monaca.

Many evenings were introduced by stars of Italian cinema: Barbara Ronchi for Settembre, Alex Infascelli for Almost Famous, Sergio Rubini for I fratelli De Filippo, Micaela Ramazzotti for Felicità, and Giulio Manfredonia for Si può fare.

More than just cinema

Every Thursday at 6:30 PM, the program was accompanied by free guided tours of the former Santa Maria della Pietà psychiatric complex, led by local volunteers: an opportunity to discover the history of the site hosting the arena before settling in front of the screen.
