Edition 2025 — Santa Maria della Mercede
The 2025 edition in the Montecalvario district
The Santa Maria della Mercede Feast 2025 was held from September 26th to 28th, starting at 9:00 PM, with events distributed in the Montecalvario district, in the heart of the Spanish Quarters of Naples. The official municipal program defined it as a widespread festival of Latin peoples, a choice that was anything but random in a neighborhood with a strong presence of Latin American communities and with a title, that of the Mercede, which has its roots in the Spanish Mercedarian order.
The final evening at Foqus
The closing moment took place in the spaces of Foqus – Spanish Quarters Foundation, the social and cultural regeneration hub located in the former Montecalvario Institute, a few meters from the church. A finale that highlighted the link between the patronal feast and the daily work of the district's associative groups.
Part of the third edition of the Patronal Feasts
The event was part of the third edition of the "Patronal Feasts" series, promoted and funded by the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples, which from June 14th to October 19th, 2025, brought concerts, shows, and religious celebrations to all the city's Municipalities, with free admission.
