Santa Dolcissima Festival

From September 15th to 18th, 2025, Sutri celebrated its patron saint with a program that intertwined, as per tradition, religious rites and popular events. On September 16th, the day of Santa Dolcissima, masses in the Cathedral and the solemn evening procession with the confraternities preceded the great free concert by Paolo Belli in Piazza del Comune: on stage, his twelve-piece Big Band performed, featuring his new single and historical hits like 'Ladri di Biciclette'.

During the festival days, a tombola, a footrace, an equestrian gymkhana, and guided tours of the Archaeological Park and the Palazzo Doebbing Museum also took place, organized from September 16th to 18th. The grand finale featured the fireworks display in the tufa-carved Roman amphitheatre, illuminated by torches, in front of Sutri residents and visitors arriving from all over the Tuscia region.
