Santa Croce Fair – May Fair

The 2025 edition of the Santa Croce Fair marked the revival of the historic May Fair in Minervino di Lecce, Salento. Thanks to the efforts of the Ri-generazione Minervino group, Largo Santa Croce returned to being a vibrant and popular space, faithful to the tradition of the first Sunday of May.

The program combined the rural memory of the historic fair with a renewed format: a local farmers' market with zero-mile products, traditional Salento street food, and a pizzica concert that engaged residents and visitors until the evening. An edition that confirmed the community's desire to rediscover and value its roots, restoring the fair's role as a defining celebration for the village.
