Edition 2025 — Santa Croce Caves Festival

The 27th edition of the Santa Croce Caves Festival took place in Bisceglie from August 16 to 20, 2025, with guided tours of the archaeological site extended until August 25. Organized by the Bisceglie Scout Group under the presidency of Mimmo Rana, the festival offered evening guided tours of the caves (6 PM - 11 PM), prehistoric technique workshops for children, folk music, and the presentation of the book "Neanderthal, l'altra umanità" by science journalist Franco Capone.

The 27th edition of the festival

From August 16 to 20, 2025, the Santa Croce Caves site, along the Bisceglie-Corato provincial road, hosted the twenty-seventh edition of the festival organized by the Bisceglie Scout Group, with the patronage of the Municipality of Bisceglie. Guided tours of the archaeological site took place every evening from 6 PM to 11 PM, accompanied by young scout guides, and continued until August 25.

Evening program

  • August 16: workshop for children and presentation of the book "Neanderthal, l'altra umanità" with science journalist Franco Capone, followed by musical entertainment;
  • August 17: clay workshop using prehistoric techniques and Italian music with the Sorelle d'Italia trio;
