Santa Chiara Festival

The 2025 edition of the Santa Chiara Festival took place from August 8 to 10 in the historic center of Gallipoli, hosted by the local parish. For three days, the old town was lit up with traditional luminarie and hosted religious ceremonies, performances, and evening musical events.

As is customary for popular Salento festivals, the event intertwined devotion to the Saint with the convivial atmosphere of a village feast: music, entertainment in the alleyways, and local gastronomy, in one of the many celebrations that mark the Gallipoli summer in the province of Lecce.

The festival spanned three days, from August 8 to 10, 2025, featuring religious celebrations organized by the Santa Chiara Parish, illuminations in the historic center, evening musical events, and moments dedicated to gastronomy and conviviality in the narrow streets of the old town.
