Sant'Onofrio Festival 2025: the rebirth in Collesecco

The 2025 edition was held on Thursday, June 12th, in Contrada Collesecco, Tollo (Chieti), under the title "A festival reborn among the stones of time." It was the celebration that brought back to life the devotion to Sant'Onofrio, linked to the ruins of the ancient hermitage in the area.

The program began at 7:00 PM with a procession and solemn mass, accompanied by the inauguration of a votive chapel housing a statue of the saint, created by the local community. At 8:00 PM, the opening of the food stalls kicked off the convivial evening, featuring Abruzzese culinary specialties, local wines, and music. A heartfelt event that united the inhabitants of Collesecco and pilgrims from the surrounding areas in the name of tradition and the rural identity of the "land of grapes and wine."
