Sant Jordi – The Festival of Books and Roses

The 2025 edition of Sant Jordi in Bardonecchia spanned over ten days of events. The first days, from April 14 to 16, were dedicated to local schools: guests included Professor Danilo Perrone with «Perpetuum Mobile – Il segreto per non morire», the Asti-based storyteller Corrado Brignolo with «Il grande abbraccio del bosco», and Alberto Dolfin with «Marchio di ferro».

Public events included an evening at the Library with French writer and artist François Beaume and journalist Quentin Raverdy discussing «La Veille. Storie vere delle Alte Valli», the reading group's literary tea at the Palazzo delle Feste, and a meeting with Andrea Bouchard, author of «Fuochi d'artificio», which was adapted into a Rai 1 series. The events, with free admission, took place between the Palazzo delle Feste and the Civic Library on Piazza Valle Stretta.
