Sant'Aurea Festival 2025: how it went

The 2025 edition was held from May 23 to 25 in the village of Ostia Antica, Rome. Friday opened with the art exhibition at the Salone Riario (from 10 am to 8 pm, for all three days), followed in the late afternoon by the adoration of relics and mass, then a classical music concert with baritone Daniele Adriani and, in the evening, DJ sets and group dancing.

Saturday was the day of the procession with the statue and relics of Sant'Aurea through the village streets, accompanied by the Ostia Lido Marching Band; followed by the Caritas market, the polyphonic choir concert, and an evening of country dancing.

Sunday featured the large group game "Jumanji" for teenagers, the first edition of the "A Dessert for Sant'Aurea" contest, a performance by the Black Latin Style dance school, and a concert by the band Sound Stones. Every evening, from 7:30 pm, food stalls were open serving sausage sandwiches, arrosticini, and French fries. All events had free admission.
