Edition 2025 — Sant'Antonio Itinerante

The first edition of the Sant'Antonio Itinerante, on January 16, 2025, involved about 220 students from the Trasacco Comprehensive Institute along with schools from Collelongo and Villavallelonga. In Trasacco, students brought the ancient Mascaritte play to life at three points in the town, with the support of historical consultants and a strong intercultural focus.

The first edition of the Sant'Antonio Itinerante project took place on January 16, 2025, at the initiative of the Trasacco Comprehensive Institute, led by principal Rebecca Palma. About 220 students from the fifth grade of primary school and the first year of middle school took part in the experience, together with students from the schools of Collelongo and Villavallelonga.

In Trasacco, the students brought the ancient "Ij Mascaritte" play to life in three different parts of the town; in Villavallelonga, they staged the "miracle of the Serafini family," linked to the origin of the Panarda; in Collelongo, they discovered the meaning of the "torcione" and the "Cottora degli Ebrei." The project, enriched by the advice of historian Tito Lucarelli and scholar Omerita Ranalli, also highlighted the intercultural dimension, with students of Moroccan nationality sharing their own traditions regarding the blessing of grain in January.
