The 2025 tradition in Posta

Organized as always by the Brotherhood of Saint Anthony, the 2025 edition confirmed the festival's established structure: Friday opening with gastronomy and music, Saturday dedicated to the bonfire and traditional dishes — zampetti, grilled sausages, panonta — and Sunday reserved for the most anticipated moment, the 'stanghe' parade along the streets of the historic center, followed by the blessing of the animals and the procession.

In 2025, the festival also took place under the covered and heated structure set up in Piazza degli Eroi, with folk games, music, and dancing in the evenings, with free admission. An appointment that every January attracts visitors from the entire province of Rieti and nearby Abruzzo to the small town in the Alta Valle del Velino.
