Sant'Anna 2025 in Gaeta: A look back

The celebrations in honor of Saint Anne at the San Carlo Parish in Gaeta opened on Saturday, July 12, 2025, with a solemn concelebrated Mass presided over by Archbishop Luigi Vari, followed by the display of the Gonfalone on the church square and the enthronement of the statue in the church. The evening concluded with musical entertainment by the "Montano" brass band of Gaeta.

The novena began on July 16th, which in 2025 was themed "The Hope of Love." The secular program came to life on July 24th with the White Night and the show "From Naples to Costa Rica" with Cecilia Gayle, followed on July 25th by a disco evening with a show by Mario Ciacciarella.

On July 26th, the day of Saints Joachim and Anne, the procession accompanied by the "Città di Riardo" brass band took place in the afternoon; in the evening, music with Onda Sonora and, to close, the fireworks display over the sea launched from the Campo San Carlo pier. On July 27th, a thanksgiving celebration with the repositioning of the statue, the prize draw, and a dance evening closed the festival. Throughout the festivities, the charity market supported the Life Help Center.
