Sant'Anna Festival in Castellone

The 2025 Sant'Anna Festival

From July 21st to 26th, 2025, the village of Castellone, in Formia, experienced six days of festivities in honor of Sant'Anna, in one of the most heartfelt celebrations of the southern Pontine area. The week opened with Holy Mass and the distribution of blessed bread, while the Sant'Anna Banner returned to wave through the ancient streets of the neighborhood.

On July 25th, music filled the streets with the traditional brass band parade, followed in the evening by the show Napolitanando, dedicated to Neapolitan song. July 26th, the day of the solemnity, opened with Mass at dawn and continued with the evocative procession through the village alleys and the evening celebration. The night concluded with a well-attended tribute to Massimo Ranieri and a theatrical comedy that brought smiles and lightness to the audience.

The edition, promoted by the parish community with the support of the Municipality of Formia, confirmed the formula that combines spirituality, tradition, and popular culture in an authentic and engaging atmosphere.
