Sant'Andrea Fair

The Sant'Andrea Fair 2025 was held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Castelnovo di Sotto (Reggio Emilia), on the day of the patron saint. The heart of the event was Via Gramsci, enlivened by the street market, shops open with the Gioco dei Pacchi (Game of Packages) organized by the Botteghe della Rocca association, and the high-quality markets Terra dei Gonzaga and Mercanti di Parma.

At the Rotonda del gusto e delle associazioni, Emilian specialties were not lacking: fried dumplings (gnocco fritto), wood-fired cooked pork cracklings, polenta, fried pumpkin, and zero-kilometer agricultural products, showcasing volunteer and sports associations. For the little ones, there were wooden games, skill challenges, a creative workshop to build natural Dreamcatchers, and a street art area. In Piazza Prampolini, from 2:30 PM, a demonstration of light saber combat sport was held, while the Chiesa della Madonna hosted the exhibition "Anche la cancellazione è violenza" (Even cancellation is violence). Completing the festivities were the Fiat 500 exhibition and the funfair.
