13th edition: two record-breaking days

The 2025 edition of the Sant'Andrea di Conza Book Festival, in the province of Avellino, was held on Thursday, August 21 and Friday, August 22, confirming the formula of the village transformed into a widespread literary salon between Largo Abbruzzese, Largo Ginnasiale, the alleys, the wood and iron installations by Alfonso Bisecco and Peppino Cignarella, and the "La Maggiaiola" mural by Antonio Sena.

The first day opened at 6:00 PM with "Fabulously Bullies" by Nicolas Joos, dedicated to children and bullying prevention, and continued with journalist Luca Steinmann and his "Lives at the Front" (Rizzoli). In the evening, Francesco Piccolo's theatrical monologue "I'm here: kill me" (Einaudi), then Sigfrido Ranucci with "The Choice" (Bompiani) in front of over 800 people, and finally, Totò Cascio with "Glory and the Trial, my New Cinema Paradiso 2.0".

Friday began with literary speed dating between debut authors and readers, followed by Bianca Fenizia, Fabrizio Delprete, the dialogue between Aldo Balestra and Antonio Scolamiero, the reading from "Petrolio" on the fiftieth anniversary of Pier Paolo Pasolini's death, and Raffaele Cataldi with "Malesangue". Throughout the afternoon, the "Clouds in the Village" comic book workshop took place with Enzo Troiano and Riccardo Innocenti.

The event, with free admission, was organized by the Municipality of Sant'Andrea di Conza with local associations.
