Edition 2025 — Sant'Andonije de jennare

The 2025 edition of "Sant'Andonije de jennare" took place in Colledimezzo on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, organized by the local Pro Loco. The community of the Val di Sangro village gathered to celebrate Saint Anthony the Abbot according to tradition, featuring devotion, social moments, and the typical flavors of the day dedicated to the patron saint of animals and the rural world.

The Saint Anthony the Abbot festival in Colledimezzo was held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, organized by the Pro Loco of Colledimezzo. In keeping with the tradition of the Val di Sangro, the event — known in dialect as "Sant'Andonije de jennare" — brought together the community of the village overlooking Lake Bomba around the rituals of the patron saint of animals: the bonfire as a symbol of purification, popular devotion, and the typical flavors of Saint Anthony's Day. An event that reaffirmed the village's strong bond with its rural and religious roots.
