The 2025 edition of the Sant'Anastasia Festival took place in Grottolella from 1 to 3 August, with a programme marked by a more religious and community-oriented profile. Friday featured the blessing of the animals with Father Marcello and local volunteer associations, followed by the 7 PM mass and a musical evening with Pino Pino and tastings of local products. Saturday featured the municipal initiative "Travelling under the stars", and Sunday included the mass by Bishop Aiello, the procession, and the Bottari in the square.

Sant'Anastasia 2025 in Grottolella

In 2025, the festivities in honour of Sant'Anastasia were held from Friday 1 August to Sunday 3 August, following the custom that links the festival to the first Sunday of the month. The week, as the parish priest recalled, is among the most awaited by the people of Grottolella, especially on a religious level.

The opening on Friday was entrusted to the blessing of the animals with Father Marcello, together with local volunteer associations and the Festivities Committee; after the 7 PM mass, the evening continued with music by Pino Pino and the tasting of local products. Saturday 2 August was the turn of "Viaggiando sotto le stelle" (Travelling under the stars), an initiative promoted and sponsored by the Municipality of Grottolella.

The highlight was Sunday 3 August: after the morning masses, with the 11 AM celebration presided over by Bishop Aiello together with Father Marcello, at 7:30 PM the procession of Sant'Anastasia wound through the streets of the town, accompanied by the Grottolella town band. The evening concluded in Piazza Angelo Maglio with the performance of the Bottari, guardians of one of the oldest sound traditions in Campania.
