Sant'Amatore Festival

The 2025 Sant'Amatore Festival brought the center of Cellamare to life from April 25 to early May, with a rich program of faith, culture, and entertainment. The traditional Sant'Amatore Fair colored Piazza Risorgimento with stands, entertainment for children, games, magic shows, mascots, and balloon sculptures.

The heart of the event, on Saturday, May 3, was the Historical Pageant that departed at 6:30 PM from Castello Caracciolo: nobles, ladies, commoners, and courtiers in period costumes paraded through the streets of the village in the baroque re-enactment of the delivery of the Saint's relic to the Mother Church. The role of the Duke was played by actor Gilles Rocca, with Roberta Mastromichele in the role of the Duchess. To complete the festivities, the procession of the Saint, evening musical shows, and traditional fireworks took place.
