Edition 2025 — Sant'Agata Feast
The 2025 edition confirmed the identity-defining value of the Sant'Agata Patronal Feast for Sant'Agata di Puglia. As highlighted by Mayor Pietro Bove, these were "two secular appointments of the historical and cultural tradition" of the Monti Dauni village, awaited every year with great enthusiasm.
On February 3rd, the feast of Saint Blaise opened the celebrations with the morning distribution of blessed bread, the 11:00 AM Mass at the Church of San Michele Arcangelo with the blessing of the throat, and an evening service at the Church of San Nicola. On February 5th, the day of Saint Agatha, the Agatine distributed blessed bread from the morning, followed by the 11:00 AM solemn Mass at the Mother Church of San Nicola, presided over by Archbishop Giorgio Ferretti with parish priest Father Rodoslaw Hryniewicki, and a second service in the afternoon. The day was accompanied by the Umberto Giordano Band.
