Edition 2025 — Sannita Teatro Festival

In the summer of 2025, the Sannita Teatro Festival once again brought classical and contemporary performances to the Sannitic Theatre of Pietrabbondante, confirming the festival as one of Molise's most important and long-standing cultural events, set in the evocative Samnite amphitheatre at a thousand metres altitude.

The 2025 edition of the Sannita Teatro Festival renewed the long tradition of the festival at the Sannitic Theatre in Pietrabbondante. The programme, true to its established formula, alternated classics with contemporary theatre, with performances hosted between July and August on the stone tiers of the Samnite archaeological area. The event reaffirmed its role as a bridge between archaeological heritage and performing arts, enhancing one of the most representative sites of Samnite civilization in upper Molise.
