Edition 2025 — Sankirtanfest Rome
Sankirtanfest 2025 - Kurukshetra
The fourth edition of Sankirtanfest was held on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Athena Events Venue in Leicester, United Kingdom. The theme "Kurukshetra" evoked the battlefield where, according to tradition, the dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna took place, which forms the basis of the Bhagavad Gita.
The program combined long sessions of sankirtan, the collective devotional singing that is the heart of the festival, with workshops dedicated to kirtan techniques and mindfulness, shared vegetarian meals, theater moments for children, and seva activities, the voluntary service. The 2025 edition represented the final appointment before the historic arrival in Italy: in 2026, in fact, Sankirtanfest chose Rome for its first international edition.
