Edition 2025 — Sangiustese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Sangiustese Carnival featured Tirapere and Gerbolina, Davide and Giorgia, who delivered a performance described as extraordinary by local institutions. As per tradition, San Giusto Canavese experienced days of torchlight processions, masked parades, the bean stew distribution, and community festivities along the streets of the historic center, while awaiting the passing of the torch to the new masks of the following year.

The 2025 Sangiustese Carnival confirmed the vitality of one of the most beloved traditions of San Giusto Canavese, in the Turin Canavese area. The masks of the year, Davide (Tirapere) and Giorgia (Gerbolina), enlivened the festival with enthusiasm, and were later remembered for a truly extraordinary interpretation.

Between the presentation from the Town Hall balcony, the evening torchlight procession, the distribution of 'fagioli grassi', and the parades through the town streets, the 2025 edition renewed the collective ritual that brings the entire Sangiustese community together every winter, preparing the ground for the handover to the new Tirapere and Gerbolina of 2026.
