Sandamianese Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Sandamianese Carnival brought colors and tradition to the streets on Sunday, March 16, in San Damiano d'Asti. The day began in the morning with the market along Via Roma, games by the Microcirco, and the inauguration of the street food area in Piazza Libertà.

In the afternoon, the Grand Carnival Parade crossed the center with the Gruppo Sbandieratori e Musici di San Damiano, the Banda Musicale Alfiera, the Majorettes Silver Girls of Villanova d'Asti, the Associazione Ca' Borgo with its Venetian costumes, and the Maschere del Grifone, leading up to the Investiture of the Damianin in Piazza Libertà. The festival concluded with a snack offered by the Pro Loco and a baby dance for the little ones. In case of bad weather, the event was scheduled to move indoors to the Foro Boario.
