Thirteen kilometers of music by the sea
Sand & Sound is the music festival that in Cavallino-Treporti, in the province of Venice, celebrates the summer solstice by transforming the entire coastline into a widespread stage. Along the 13 kilometers of beach, dozens of musical stations are set up where bands and groups play simultaneously.
All genres, from the sea
The event offers an experience where everyone can find the music they prefer: from rock to jazz, from pop to electronic, and Latin music. Kiosks, bars, and restaurants on the beach turn into stages, hosting performances and livening up the coast from sunset until the evening.
Local bands
Born to promote the local music scene, Sand & Sound primarily gives space to bands from Cavallino-Treporti and the surrounding areas, alongside musicians from neighboring regions. The event is part of the broader European Music Day celebration that marks the summer solstice across Europe.
The beginning of summer
Promoted by the Municipality of Cavallino-Treporti, Sand & Sound has become the symbol of the start of summer on the coast, attracting tourists and residents for an evening of widespread music with a sea view.
Sand & Sound — edition 2026
On June 21, 2026, for the summer solstice, the beach of Cavallino-Treporti hosts Sand & Sound: thirteen kilometers of live music along the coast. The third edition confirms the 30 musical stations by the sea, where bands and groups of various genres play simultaneously.
From rock to jazz, from pop to electronic, and Latin music, the event offers everyone the chance to find the music they prefer. Kiosks, bars, and restaurants on the beach turn into stages, livening up the coast starting at 9:00 PM as part of the Music Day celebration.

- 30 musical stations distributed along the 13 km of beach

How to get there
Cavallino-Treporti is reachable by car via the SP42 coastal road, by ferry from Venice and Punta Sabbioni, and by bus from Jesolo. The musical stations are distributed along the entire beach.
Admission
The event is free to enter; purchases at kiosks, bars, and restaurants are at your own expense.
