San Zanobi Festival – Patronal Feast of Scandicci

The 2025 Patronal Feast

In 2025, Scandicci once again celebrated its patron saint, San Zanobi, with a week of events promoted by the San Zanobi Association under the patronage of the Municipality. The central moment was the solemn mass on Saturday, May 10th, at 11:00 AM, at the Propositura di Santa Maria, presided over by Father Giovanni Momigli and attended by civil and military authorities.

In the evening, at 9:30 PM, the historical pageant crossed the center from Piazza Matteotti to Piazzale della Resistenza, with the participation of the Cavalieri di Montalbano group, the Florentine Republic pageant, and the Bandierai degli Uffizi. The following day, from 10:30 AM, the park of the Castello dell'Acciaiolo hosted a historical archery competition, completing a program that combined faith, tradition, and spectacle.
