San Vito Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Vito Festival in Ravanusa was held from June 13th to 15th, following the traditional calendar of the Agrigento patronal feast. During the festival days, the rosary and prayers were held every evening at 6:15 PM at the Santuario Maria Santissima Assunta, followed by the Eucharistic celebration.

The highlight was on June 15th, the feast day of Saint Vitus: the civic procession departed from the Town Hall with the mayor, civil and military authorities, and local associations, for the symbolic handing over of the city keys to the Patron Saint. This was followed by the solemn mass, the procession of the statues of Saint Vitus and Saint Anthony of Padua through the streets of the center, and, to close the festivities, the fireworks display.
