Edition 2025 — San Vitale Festival

On April 28, 2025, Archi celebrated its patron saint San Vitale with the traditional patronal feast. In the small village in the province of Chieti, the rituals that accompany the anniversary every year were renewed: liturgical celebrations, the procession with the saint's statue through the streets of the village, and moments of conviviality that bring the Archi community together in Piazza San Vitale.

The 2025 edition of the San Vitale Festival was held in Archi on April 28th, the day dedicated to the patron saint of the Chieti municipality. The festival followed the usual course of Abruzzo's patronal feasts: religious services in honor of the saint, the solemn procession of the statue through the historic center, and moments of shared celebration. The event confirmed the strong bond between the village, overlooking the Sangro Valley, and its patron saint, in a day that attracts those originally from the village every year.
