Edition 2025 — San Vincenzo Ferrer

In 2025, the festival of the co-patron San Vincenzo Ferrer fell on Sunday, August 31st, the last Sunday of the month according to Proceno custom. The tradition remains alive and practiced by the community of the Viterbo village, as confirmed by local Tuscia sources, although no detailed chronicle of the day or program for the edition was found.

The 2025 edition

In 2025, Proceno once again renewed its homage to its co-patron San Vincenzo Ferrer on the last Sunday of August, the 31st of the month. The celebration is part of the village's devotional calendar, which revolves around the two Dominican figures venerated in town: Saint Agnes of Montepulciano, the patron saint celebrated in April and on August 14th with the transport of the wooden statue, and San Vincenzo Ferrer at the end of the summer.

Sources from the Viterbo Tuscia confirm that the anniversary continues to be observed by the community, with Mass in honor of the saint and the procession through the streets of the historic center, but no detailed chronicle of the 2025 edition or a poster with the complete program of initiatives was published.
