San Valerio Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the San Valerio Patronal Feast reaffirmed the central role of this festival in the life of the village of Lu, in the province of Alessandria. The celebrations, spread over two days in mid-January, combined the religious dimension — with the translation of the relics and the solemn procession — with the spectacular nature of the daytime fireworks, a hallmark tradition of the Monferrato community. As is customary, the festival served as a moment of strong cohesion for all citizens at the conclusion of the services.
