San Terenziano Festival

From September 1st to 8th, 2025, Capranica celebrated its patron saint San Terenziano with a week full of religious and secular events. The festivities opened with traditional evening processions and liturgical services in honor of the saint, the devotional heart of the recurrence.

The secular program's most anticipated moment was the concert on September 4th at the "Giggi Iezzi" sports field, with the band "Voglio Tornare negli Anni '90" performing the greatest hits of the decade in an evening of music and nostalgia. Other events included the "Open" basketball tournament hosted at the municipal field starting September 6th and various initiatives for families and young people.

As per tradition, the solemn procession of the patron's reliquary bust, accompanied by the band and confreres in green robes and red capes, traversed the streets of the Tuscia village's historic center, confirming the strong bond between the community of Capranica and its protector saint.
