San Simone Fair

The 2025 San Simone Fair was held in Sannicola (Lecce) on Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th, promoted by the Municipality's Department of Tourism and Events. The historic center, centered around Piazza della Repubblica, hosted the Taste Fair with wines, oils, cured meats, cheeses, preserves, and autumn sweets, as well as the Artisan Creativity Market and traditional street food.

Saturday evening was dedicated to a concert by Consuelo Alfieri, voice of the Notte della Taranta, preceded by the group Tremulacore. On Sunday morning, the historic livestock fair took place along Via Mozart, alongside the "Sapori Sannicolesi in Piazza" gastronomic competition organized by the Pro Loco, while the evening featured a performance by Zigo e i Carosello on stage. The event confirmed its role as an identity-defining event amidst the strong tourism growth recorded by Sannicola in 2025.
