Edition 2025 — San Silverio Fishermen's Festival
2025 Edition in Le Forna
The 2025 edition took place on Sunday, February 23, in the village of Le Forna, on the island of Ponza. The novena was opened on February 14 with a procession and the display of the saint's statue, continuing until February 22, a day dedicated to children.
The festival day began at 7:00 AM with the diana, followed at 7:30 AM by the rosary and mass. At 11:00 AM, the solemn mass was presided over by the Archbishop of Gaeta, Monsignor Luigi Vari, with the participation of civil and military authorities. At 4:00 PM, the procession reached Punta Incenso accompanied by the Ponza island brass band, followed by evening mass. In the evening, musical entertainment was provided by the duo Maddy & Benny, with the distribution of zeppole, and at 8:00 PM, fireworks were set off.
