Edition 2025 — San Romedio Festival
The 2025 edition of the San Romedio Festival took place on Tuesday, January 14th, and Wednesday, January 15th, in Val di Non. On January 14th, the Night Walk departed at 7:30 PM from the square of the Basilica of Sanzeno, arriving at the Hermitage around 9:30 PM after a 3 km walk with torches. On January 15th, three masses were held (9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 4:00 PM), with the solemn 11:00 AM mass featuring Archbishop Lauro Tisi and the Tassullo parish choir, followed by the tripe-based pilgrim's dish until 3:00 PM.
The 2025 Edition
In 2025, the San Romedio Festival was held on January 14th and 15th at the cliffside sanctuary in the Municipality of Predaia, in Val di Non (Province of Trento).
- Tuesday, January 14th — Night Walk: departure at 7:30 PM from the square of the Basilica of the Holy Martyrs of Sanzeno, approx. 3 km walk with torches along the asphalt road accompanied by the sound of the Rio San Romedio, arriving at the Hermitage around 9:30 PM.
- Wednesday, January 15th — Three Holy Masses at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 4:00 PM; the 11:00 AM solemn mass was presided over by the Archbishop of Trento, Monsignor Lauro Tisi, and animated by the Tassullo parish choir.
- Until 3:00 PM, the traditional pilgrim's dish of tripe (prepared by chef Bruno Sicher) or barley soup was distributed.
