How the 2025 edition went

From August 14th to 17th, 2025, Pietramelara celebrated its patron saint with four days of festivities, among the most well-attended in recent years. The religious program followed the usual calendar, with the novena, solemn mass, and the procession of the statue of San Rocco through the streets of the historic center on August 16th.

Avitabile and Bennato in Piazza San Rocco

On the musical front, the San Rocco Festival Committee of Pietramelara outdid itself, bringing two absolute protagonists of Southern music to the square: Enzo Avitabile, who performed on August 16th, and Eugenio Bennato, who closed the edition on the evening of Sunday, August 17th. The concert by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter, with his repertoire of taranta and Mediterranean music, filled Piazza San Rocco with people who had arrived from neighboring towns in the province of Caserta.

The festival atmosphere

As per tradition, the evenings were accompanied by artistic illuminations, food stalls with typical Alto Casertano products, market stalls along the main street, and a final fireworks display. The success of 2025 prompted the Committee to announce the first names for the following edition as early as spring.
