Edition 2025 — San Rocco Torrevecchia

On August 16th and 17th, 2025, Torrevecchia Teatina celebrated its patron saint with the traditional San Rocco Feast. The two days featured the solemn procession with the saint's statue through the streets, liturgical celebrations in the San Rocco parish, illuminations, evening musical performances in the square, and concluding fireworks, with the participation of the local Cavalieri di San Rocco brotherhood.

The San Rocco Patronal Feast brought Torrevecchia Teatina to life on August 16th and 17th, 2025, confirming it as the most heartfelt event of the summer in the Chieti village. As per tradition, the festivities combined religious and popular elements: the procession with the patron saint's statue, the illuminations that lit up Piazza San Rocco and the historic center, evening musical shows, and final fireworks. The Saga delle Piane, organized by the local brotherhood, was also held, renewing the devotional traditions linked to San Rocco in the Abruzzo town every year.
